You probably don’t work out for a variety of reasons. To be sure, there are valid reasons.
Unfortunately, the temperature is either too high or too low. The gym is too far away and costs too much to enroll there. Your area needs to be more congested for a healthy walk.
Besides, what exercise could you possibly do, considering your health conditions or disability?
You tend to be like Erma Bombeck, who used to joke, “Whenever I think of exercising, I lie down until the thought goes away.“
Well, your excuses are not going to work anymore. No gym membership is required for you to maintain an exercise routine.
The convenience of not having to go anywhere is emphasized. You don’t have to pay anything at all. You can exercise.
In fact, you can have your own personalized exercise program suited to your health and medical conditions.
How?
Just by signing up for the “14-Week Program to a Healthier You,” a personalized physical activity and nutrition program available free online.
The exercise program for the disabled and nutrition advice will be customized just for your abilities and limitations. The program is available on the website of the National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability.
Don’t let your disabilities or chronic health conditions keep you from exercising. This exercise for the disabled program is just for people with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions, and physical disabilities.
Registering online lets you share information about yourself, your conditions and disabilities, and your goals. The Center’s experts will provide exercises suitable for you throughout the 14-week program.
At least once a week, you can go to the website to see the exercise for disabled people being done. They will also help you improve your nutrition by giving you recipes and helping you track your activity and food intake.
You can contact your coach by email, phone, or live chat if you have questions.
You can earn awards for participation and have opportunities to connect online with other participants!
So check out the introductory video from the National Center on Physical Activity and Disability to learn more, and sign up soon. No more excuses!
Just 14 weeks to a healthier you! You can do this!
